TREE Craze Foundation initiated ‘Meri Yamuna Mere Ghat’ program at Kalindi Kunj Ghat on 21st July 2019. The objective of the program is to anchor a mass movement, hoping for a day where all stakeholders work together selflessly for rejuvenation of rivers and restoration of Ghats.
Since 21st July 2019, TREE Craze Foundation has been visiting the Kalindi Kunj Ghat every Sunday, setting a different theme every week and involving people from all walks and spheres.
The objectives of the program are to; To anchor a mass movement for river rejuvenation and ghat restoration, To identify and mobilize all key stakeholders for each ghat, To enhance awareness through action and further advocate the findings. We have being conducting cleaning drives every weekend since its launch.
